DCTV celebrates Black History Month by recognizing Kobe Bryant, an American basketball player who played the position of Shooting Guard with the Los Angeles Lakers during his career.
Bryant entered the NBA directly from high school and played his entire career with the Lakers. During his career, the Lakers were five time NBA Champions, he received MVP in the league in 2008 and twice received MVP in the NBA Finals.
In 2018, he won an Oscar for the Best Animated Short Film entitled, “Dear Basketball.”
